Registered Dietitian (remote)

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time outpatient telehealth Registered Dietitian in the state of Pennsylvania for 3 days per week!

Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration AND must be professionally licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.

Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday, 100% remote.

Hours per week: 3 days per week (24 hours per week)

Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 per hour DOE.

Experience with medical nutrition therapy for diabetes management is required.

The position is completed remotely via telehealth.

Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for diabetes and comorbidities such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, etc.
  
• Electronic Health Record documentation with use of the nutrition care process, standardized terminology and appropriate forms.
  
• Implements/updates a nutrition plan of care.
  
• Provides nutrition counseling and education to optimize nutritional status.
  
• Makes recommendations to primary care providers and assuring compliance with standard practices and regulatory requirements.
  
• Makes referrals to appropriate resources and collaborates with other disciplines as indicated.
  
• Performs necessary organizational and administrative duties.
  

Requirements: Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration AND must be professionally licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Must be willing to be registered with insurance
  
• Experience with diabetes management and weight loss
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Experience with electronic charting systems
  
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients
