This is a remote position.

Technical Sales Executive

Location: Remote/Cambridge, UK - Candidates must be located in the UK or Europe

We are a pioneering engineering and manufacturing company working across Electronic Warfare, Air Defense, Signal Intelligence and Regulated Telecommunications markets, worldwide. The business is headquartered in Cambridge, UK, with offices in the UK and North America, serving military, government and commercial customers. You don’t have to be a radio frequency (RF) technician to work here, but you need to be able to operate in a tech-enabled environment where hardware, software, coding and highly regulated communication, is the DNA.

Your key focus:

Technical Sales Executive will be selling complex systems and solutions in the MILGOV sector.

Interpersonal skills, positive attitude, work ethic and intelligence are more important than your amount of sales experience since we will provide a challenging and supportive career environment for your personal development.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the following, including but not limited to:

  • Develop and expand the company’s portfolio of Government users and system integrators who are involved in management and control of the RF spectrum.
  • Work closely with customers and integrators to understand their needs and supply solutions involving our hardware and software.
  • Prepare successful quotes, winning proposals and close sales.
  • Enhance and increase our company's image as a trusted solution provider throughout the MILGOV sector.


Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in Engineering / Science (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong understanding of RF systems and spectrum management is desirable.
  • Ideally 5+ years professional experience in customer facing and sales roles required.
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas:
    • Military or regulatory spectrum operations and radio frequency monitoring systems
    • Electronic Warfare/SIGINT
    • Emitter geolocation, direction finding and interference management
  • Exceptional listener who can understand both stated and implied customer needs.
  • Problem solver who can develop innovative ways to address customer needs and provide solutions that will ensure their success.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise and winning technical proposals.
  • Ability to prepare and give effective presentations to groups at all levels.
  • Able to travel and meet potential clients.
