The OCIO is seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to join our existing ServiceNow Delivery team.

The OCIO is seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to join our existing ServiceNow Delivery team. This role will serve as 1 of 2 ServiceNow developer/admins and is responsible for maintenance, management and new development on the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will perform ServiceNow configuration and customization assistance, including but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including making approved changes to process and workflows, troubleshooting incidents and fulfilling support requests, and ensuring the overall health of the ServiceNow platform.
• Perform ServiceNow implementation tasks including but not limited to configuration, integration, orchestration, and custom application development.
• Identify and define solutions for users that are aligned with best practices on the ServiceNow platform (i.e. limiting custom code, demonstrating good development practice, and adhering to licensing requirements).
• Perform and/or manage the installation and testing of vendor-provided updates and new releases.
• Design and lead ServiceNow integrations and orchestration activities, partnering with business partners and technical teams for implementation.
• Work with users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows.
• Perform system and integration testing; may create user test cases.
• Develop & maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a team.
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and adaptive environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of ServiceNow experience with basic knowledge of:
• Form fields and views
• UI policy and actions

Skills:
• Professional level IT experience which includes demonstrated experience in developing and/or modifying new and existing applications, including requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, implementation, and maintenance.
• Direct experience as a ServiceNow Admin and/or Developer, configuring core ServiceNow modules including Customer Service Management, core ITSM (Change, Incident, Request), Portal, Performance Analytics, and APIs.
• HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST API, GraphQL
• Knowledge of Active Directory; ADAM/AD LDS servers; and LDAP. Experience managing users, roles, groups, and ACLs
• Demonstrated advanced scripting/reporting capability including both client and server-side scripting
• Demonstrated experience related to relational databases, programming and content management frameworks.
• Experience with iterative and/or Agile Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with ServiceNow platform versions Quebec, Rome or San Diego
• ServiceNow Admin Certification (CSA) [DESIRED]
• ServiceNow Developer Certification [DESIRED]
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow designer and Automated Testing framework [DESIRED]
