Job description

Position: SaaS Ops Engineer / SRE
The applicant must be able to jump into production support type roles in collaboration with Development.
Primary skills: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Linux, Infra.
Location: Hamilton, NJ (Person needs to support EST time zone without exception. So open to remote, but preference towards NJ, MUST work EST hours)
Duration: 6-12 months
Qualifications: Must have:
  • 8 + years of working experience in DevOps support model / Tooling Development.
  • DevOps Engineer with Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana experience is mandated
  • Good knowledge on Kubernetes administration with experience in upgrading cluster and Deployment strategies awareness is the key
  • Performing Elastic (ELK) Admin/Production Support with the team and assist with duties as a consultant
  • Cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies Terraform
  • Strong experience on EKS and Python system level programming is mandatory
  • Strong Knowledge on Cloud concepts on AWS cloud
  • Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS services (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC)

Good to have:
  • Working knowledge DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Bit bucket, Jira, Nexus and of working in Agile scrum teams.
  • Knowledge on open search and its integration with ELK will be a plus
