Job description

Title: Azure Solution Architect
Duration: 9 months+
Location: Remote

Description:
  • Understanding of Azure's analytics services.
  • Designing and implementing analytics solutions.
  • Using Azure's analytics tools.
Understand business requirements and translate them into a data model that can be used to store and manage data.
Assess the current data systems and identify any gaps or inefficiencies.
Work with the development team to create a high-level representation of the data model and the data flows between different systems.
Develop standards for how data is coded and stored in the database.
Review changes to existing systems to ensure that they are compatible with the new data model.
Implement the data model in a physical database and ensure that it meets the business requirements.
Update the data model as the business requirements change and ensure that the metadata is accurate and up-to-date.
Evaluate the implementation and identify any problems and make recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills
  • Azure Solution Architect Certifications
  • 5+ years implementation experience in Azure data and analytics solutions
  • 15+ years data and analytics experience
  • Full cycle modeling experience from Logical, Entity Diagrams, to Relational database models. Experience defining enterprise wide Unified Data Models with corresponding KPI stores.
  • ERWIN experience in an Azure environment
  • Experience in data catalogs tools (i.e. Collibra, Allation)
