seeking a Mobile Development Technical Lead to support our growing
suite of Digital Companions. Our colleague Technical Leads have been assigned full-time to a highpriority project. We are seeking to back-fill with a contract mobile engineer that can contribute directly
to an in-flight project AND provide technical guidance to our portfolio of projects (e.g., helping with
new project cost estimates, solution architecture, design reviews, problem-solving, etc.) This will be a
long-duration engagement through the end of this year and perhaps beyond. This project is 100%
remote.
We want the Mobile Development Technical Lead to begin by engaging directly in one of our
highpriority digital companion projects – GroAssist. We anticipate the resource gaining knowledge in
our technology, platforms, processes, and people through this project. Over time we will expand the
scope of the role to span multiple projects. The resource will act as a technical adviser at crucial design
milestones for projects, provide oversight/direction to development teams (e.g., ensuring
development standards are being followed), help evaluate technical resources being screened for
projects, support new project cost estimation, etc.
Role Responsibilities
GroAssist Mobile App Development:
 Become part of the Agile project team and participate in scrum calls.
 Along with the rest of the development team, take on the development of user stories.
 Take ownership of the code quality and structure of the hybrid mobile app and the
nativecode portions of the app (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
 Lead, direct, and guide the development team to create a well-engineered app.
 Review the current implementation of feature configurability and lead the development of
 a best practice approach.
 Ensure the development team follows best practices in Agile development (Jira,
 estimation, testing, code reviews, user story development, merge requests, dev-ops, etc.)
 Contribute to Jira user story reviews and to test plan reviews.
