Location: Chicago preferred but remote for the right candidate

Overview:

Looking for an AWS Solution Architect with expertise in design, build, deployment, and maintenance of critical business apps inside AWS. The candidate should have proven expertise in designing end-to-end solutions for greenfield applications as well as migrating on-prem applications to AWS. The development experience of working with a high-level language would also be required. Basically looking for an AWS expert.

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of overall development experience with proven expertise in delivering complex projects
  • Strong experience working with AWS with solid exposure to the AWS ecosystem- CloudFront, Route 53, S3, EC2, ELB, EKS , ElastiCache.
  • Ability to create IAAS using technologies like Pulumi, Terraform and CloudFront.
  • Strong understanding of AWS back-bone infra, including strong understanding of VPCs, Transit Gateway
  • Strong programming background- Java OR C# OR python OR scala

Tasks & responsibilities:
· Design end-to-end solutions for onboarding apps to AWS.
· Implement server-side modules
· Create and work with existing DevOps pipeline to deploy artifacts to AWS.
· Working directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements.
