What will I be doing?**

As a Data Analyst , you will work closely with our internal and external clients to implement solutions to facilitate our ability to deliver high quality data. In this role, you will be responsible for deriving actionable insights from data to inform leadership and drive improvements in our data quality. You will build and maintain dashboards and metrics that expose issues and validate results. This role involves heavy interaction with our development teams and our clients. Your skill and acumen in analytics/BI tools will make you a valued resource with our clients and in the organization. **

Job Responsibilities**

  • Be an SME when comes to our vast data assets\sources
  • Responsible for designing data profiling rending and similar checks for data quality and consistency.
  • Documenting and designing automated checks to ensure data quality.
  • Working with Product, Engineering, Data Science and other groups to institute processes for data validation and quality.
  • Identify trend breaks and other data quality issues.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external clients to identify issues and opportunities to improve our data.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to facilitate data reviews.
  • Provide ad-hoc data, analytics, and insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics or other quantitative disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
  • Data visualization experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Domo is a plus.
  • Expert in SQL querying, relational databases, data warehouses, OLAP and OLTP databases.
  • Ability to use big data systems such as Hadoop.
  • Ability to communicate insights from complex data sets.
  • Experience with the Retail Industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytic and quantitative abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication skills.

This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $100k to $120k.
