Integrated Services (IS) will create software enabled and subscription-based always-on customer experiences within Retail and Commercial business segments of Ford Motor Company. Integrated Services (IS) Software or “IT” organization will focus on non-Vehicle based software solutions, business application development, marketing technology, and e-commerce solutions focused on digital services and subscriptions . The IT organization will also focus on integrating vehicle related activation functions as necessary and developed mutually by IS Product Organization **
In this position...**
IS will minimize the orchestration needed across Cloud Engineering, OGC, Commerce and Retail Channel Marketing, Global Data Insights and Analytics integrations, Cyber Security, Ford Pro integrations. IS works closely with vehicle architecture teams, specifically, Telematics; Vehicle Command Gateway, Future FNV4 Cloud APIs, and Orchestration Services that are outside of Ford IT to ‘unify’ customer experiences across channels, devices, and vehicle platforms. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager- Integrated Services to join this innovating team. **
Responsibilities**
What you'll do...
- Oversee software development across the lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, developing, debugging, and validating, and optimization, customer engagement, and/or product support
- Provide architectural and technical guidance to ensure sound engineering practices are followed
- Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results
- Drive results by inspiring people, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
- Develop good working relationships with other employees, such as Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Engineers
- Oversee the design, implementation, and quality of a scalable and resilient business platform
- Manage BAU (Business as Usual) and Change Management of the Ford Drive business applications
- Contribute to and exemplify team culture embracing a growth mind set/learning and a spirit of inclusivity
- Drive continuous improvement program focusing on quality of service and quality of experience
- Partner with product management to drive revenue and share growth through prioritization.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 10 + years of software industry experience
- 7 + years of experience as a Technical Leader or Senior Engineering Manager delivering complex consumer facing, internet scale business platforms.
- 3 + years of experience in a senior leadership role delivering industry specific applications such as Web, Mobile, API Services, or other Complex business processing functions.

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience evaluating, identifying and developing software solutions
- Experience leading software development projects from an implementation and system perspective
- Documenting artifacts around relevant aspects of an application or software system
- Training and development of the activities of the members of the development team
- Planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables.
- Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software interfaces
- Lay out system architecture scale based on a product roadmap.
