Myriad Neuroscience provides informatics-based precision medicine and treatment decision support to healthcare providers for behavioral health. We help people achieve mental wellness with advanced CPGxTM, a proprietary combinatorial pharmacogenomics technology providing individualized treatment support for neuropsychiatric conditions. Myriad Neuroscience’s Site Reliability Team is seeking a talented SRE/DevOps Engineer to work as part of a team building state of the art infrastructure and deployment pipelines utilizing cutting edge science and technology. As part of the Site Reliability and Architecture team, this position will be heavily involved in monitoring, reliability, and scalability of infrastructure for our business applications. Additionally, they will have heavy involvement in transitioning systems from an on-premise hosted environment to a cloud-based environment in Amazon Web Services.

In the position of Site Reliability Engineer you will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure stability and performance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This person will report directly to the Site Reliability Manager.

This position is with the Neuroscience business unit located in Mason, OH. **

Location: Remote, USA

What you’ll do:**

  • Perform regular software release builds and deployments based on defined process and procedure.
  • Develop and standardize release pipelines for critical systems.
  • Work with Development, Test Engineering, and Architect teams to create appropriate configurations for cloud environments.
  • Create, monitor, and stabilize infrastructure and systems hosting our platform.
  • Manage software build automation system.
  • Work in a .NET environment through full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Propose, plan, and implement new cloud-first technologies in AWS to improve system reliability.
  • Maintain an on-call rotation with the team to provide frontline support of our systems.
  • Work closely with the Site Reliability Manager to plan and implement a roadmap while leading and mentoring more junior SRE members.

About you:

  • Experience with AWS a strong plus, especially with ELB and EKS/ECS experience.
  • AWS certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure.
  • Continuous Integration server configuration (TeamCity, Jenkins, or equivalent)
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, Bash, etc.)
  • Web Server administration (IIS 7+)
  • Basic SQL Server query syntax (MSSQL Preferred)
  • Source Control System (Git Preferred)
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity experience
  • Financial and Technology audit experience preferred (SOX, HITRUST, etc.)
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage work assignments to meet deadlines under an aggressive schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Ability to sense the importance or impact of issues and situations and take appropriate actions.
  • Must have the flexibility to work extra hours to meet corporate and departmental goals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to step outside your comfort zone and explore the latest industry trends.
  • Solid analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented

  • Five or more years of equivalent technical experience preferred.
