This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: 

The HR Generalist supports HR Operations for the organization. The ideal candidate will deliver professional work overseeing a range of administrative functions related to HR processes, policies and programs. The HR Generalist reports to the Sr Manager of People Operations and assists in activities such as expense reimbursement, verification of employment, employee exits, reporting, analytics, communication and HR Operations inbox management.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • Employment Verification: Generate verification of employment letters in HRIS (Workday) for US, UK and Canada employees, respond to all employment verification requests and create custom invitation letters for business travelers.

  • Expense Reimbursement: Triage all expense reimbursement tickets from terminated employees and work with the expense reimbursement team for claims processing.

  • Employee Exits: Send exit information packages for all voluntary terminations in the US. Maintain sensitive and confidential information for reductions in force. Update payroll & legal trackers, update Workday with relevant documents and request one time payouts per agreement terms. 

  • Reporting & Analytics: Run Workday reports and generate analytics using Excel (vlookup, pivots etc) for a key HR program on a recurring basis. Also responsible for ad hoc reporting and analysis. 

  • Communications: Answer tickets from terminated employees and set up mail merge distributions for customized emails 

  • Develop, review and recommend revisions to policies and procedures. Recommend process improvements. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • A high degree of judgment and discretion, adaptability, strong problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work independently and with a team to manage high volume workflow in a fast paced environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • A high degree of confidentiality to manage sensitive and privileged information

  • Strong prioritization skills and bias for action 

  • Solid proficiency in MS Office suite especially MsExcel, mail merge, Google Docs & Adobe Pro 

  • Prior experience with Workday is preferred

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of progressively responsible HR experience; or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. 

  • Strong working knowledge and experience using Google Docs and using advanced Excel for reporting and analytics.
