Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Sales, this remote sales position is in Canada and is responsible for the development of new business in North America and Australia. Windward Software targets small, mid-size and some enterprise level accounts in the retail, rental, and service industries across several key verticals. Role will be particularly focused on mid-size businesses that are privately owned.

Job Description:

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Sales of software and related services focused on new customer accounts
  • Sell into key verticals based on understanding of the customer's current/future needs based on identification of customer challenges.
  • Manage all opportunities and prospects in compliance with established sales cycle and methodology from prospecting to deal close within HubSpot and communicate same with Sales leadership
  • Prospecting and navigating organizational structures within target accounts to identify the owner, influencers, and buyers
  • Responsible and committed to effectively organizing and prioritizing workload to achieve sales targets, metrics and accurately forecast all revenue opportunities in a timely manner utilizing HubSpot CRM.
  • Work with Marketing to develop strategically viable pipeline, target specific customers and participate in any related campaigns.
  • Focus on value-based selling and position the core differentiators of Windward Software in a way that clearly shows our customers what they will receive in a commitment to Windward Software
  • Work with your colleagues in Sales and across the organization to find the best solution for the customer that delivers the best outcome for the business.
  • Participate on-camera in video calls, team huddles and meetings both internally and with clients and prospective clients
  • Proposal response and strategy are an elements of the role

 Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Accomplished high-energy salesperson with a post-secondary education and a minimum of 3 years software and technology sales in a B2B environment.
  • Track record proves the ability hit sales targets and sell into C level management in a B2B environment
  • Ability to successfully discuss, communicate and promote client's environment and requirements internally within cross-functional groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, organized, resourceful and innovative
  • Some travel is required for meetings, conferences, and miscellaneous events.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience using MS Office tools, HubSpot and virtual meeting technologies
  • Experience in the General Retail Industry or any of the following industries are highly beneficial: Home Goods; Medical Equipment Supply/Rental/Service; Equipment Rental; associated Service Industries
