This is primarily back end, and a very little front end as of now.
With that said, there are initiatives bubbling up in the next budget cycle for front end revamp work

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will independently create API-based applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis. You will leverage your strong knowledge of general programming languages, frameworks and deployment methodologies to execute. You will participate in the implementation of complicated and often ambiguous technical problems. You will participate within a scrum team using strong communication skills to articulate problems and solutions to both product stakeholders and the development team. You will be working in a collaborative environment to build and deploy effective and efficient applications with well-tested code.

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, tests, deploys and supports systems and applications focusing on industry best-practices with a cloud-first emphasis.
Architecting and building data pipelines to AURA with machine learning models as part of advanced data solutions
Experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Development best practices and technology, such as Jenkins and Liquibase
Follows security and development standards and best practice and recommends improvements
Incorporate Test Driven Development automation to support continuous development and maintain high quality delivery at every stage
Implements timely decisions on complicated technical problems.
Manages individual tasks and timelines with an ability to work without direct supervision.
Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems
Mentors and coaches teammates
Creates documentation and leads team through architecture reviews.

Required
6+ years of software engineering data applications/solutions
2+ years working with AWS full stack solutions
Ability to translate technical requirements into a solution design and/or working solution.
Advanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of information
Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in straightforward manner
Advanced data ingestion and database knowledge and experience
Strong background with the Agile Methodology
