What will you be doing?**

The Senior Vice President of People Operations and Systems is responsible for overseeing and leading the HR operations function, as well as the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems and technology. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient and effective HR operations, streamlining processes, and leveraging HR technology to digitize and execute HR processes with excellence. This leader will drive the alignment of HR digital strategy, incorporating functionality and systems to deliver efficiencies and an exceptional user experience in support of our business goals. This will include identification and implementation of new systems/technology to complement the existing footprint, as well as ongoing assessment, management, and administration. This position will be expected to drive, influence, and collaborate with Global HR COEs, HRBPs, and Circana’s technology division (“Business ATP”) to best leverage the systems in place and drive improvements where necessary. This position also will be responsible for ensuring user training and adoption. The role therefore requires the hands-on delivery of everyday tasks and processes, and at the same time, creating and delivering on a strategic vision to transform the function. **

Job Responsibilities:**

Leadership, Strategy and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the People Operations and People Systems teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Plan the future. Lead the development of HR technology strategies, objectives, and roadmap, which support HR and align closely to business goals. Evaluate and elevate quality, efficiency, performance, and scalability of HR systems, processes, and teams globally.
  • Own the entire employee lifecycle framework, creating repeatable, scalable global processes that are streamlined and automated with high-value touchpoints that engage employees, whilst ensuring compliance and adherence to all local regulations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and product mindset-led approaches to work.
  • Infuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) elements into our strategy to drive further digitization and process efficiency for how we execute HR globally.

People Systems Strategy and Management:

  • Working with People Systems Leader to develop and execute a comprehensive People System strategy aligned with the organization's People goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop an overall strategic technology plan for Global HR to leverage HR Systems including but not limited to HRIS, LMS, and ATS.
  • Influence and apply best practices and industry innovations across the business and technology landscape.
  • Ensure that the People information systems and tools support the People functions and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within People systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with the People Systems Leader to oversee technology enhancements and upgrades, working closely with IT and vendors to ensure system functionality and integration; identify tasks and processes which could be automated; test these processes and provide feedback.
  • Actively manage vendor partners to achieve strategic goals, including new feature implementations, workflow changes and release management.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Lead the evolution and implementation of new People processes and policies as we scale, from a seamless onboarding process to effective offboarding.
  • Management and oversight of the People metrics and reporting capabilities, ensuring the team provides insightful analytics and data-driven insights to inform People decision-making.
  • Working with the People Systems team and other stakeholders for the coordination of the collection, analysis, and reporting of People-related data, such as employee demographics, turnover rates, performance reviews, and workforce planning.

HR Operations Management:

  • Develop and implement People operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth HR functions and processes.
  • Oversee and manage operations activities, including employee data management, employee onboarding/offboarding, transfers, mobility, immigration and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Continuously assess existing operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the review, updating and implementation of current and any new People policies and processes to ensure they adhere to relevant legislation, are best practice, robust and meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Exhibit strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture, to understand and integrate disparate ideas and interests, and to develop a long-range vision and multi-year systems roadmap and innovative solutions in the arena of global HR operations, infrastructure, technology, and analytics.
  • Experience with HR change transformation – both leading and implementing successful high-value changes to the HR function, ideally this will include both automation and ensuring processes are scalable for future growth.
  • Demonstrated communication and change management skills, including the ability to effectively translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience, and to effectively and proactively inform, convince, influence, and educate executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and team members.
  • Advanced skills in HRIS platforms a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and/or other data visualization tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing intellectual and task leadership on complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment, think on your feet, and respond with confidence and creativity.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

_The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $185k to $250k.
