Job description

Clayton Services is searching for a Sales Director to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Sales Director will be responsible for visiting clients on-site throughout Texas and leading their territory in business development and client retention.

Job Type: Direct-Hire
Pay Rate: $125,000 - $150,000/base + bonus potential

Travel: up to 75% onsite visiting clients

Sales Director Responsibilities:

Formulating and executing long-term growth strategies and goals for the company.
Cultivating essential customer relationships to uphold the organization's strong market presence.
Conducting market segmentation ana lysis for users in mining, hydraulic fracturing, and industrial gearing/gearbox industries.
Identifying additional markets and targets in the region, such as rebuilders, steel producers, and sugar, to enhance the organization's market position and support its financial growth objectives.
Demonstrating the ability to map and penetrate organizations tactically, reaching key decision-makers.
Delivering presentations and negotiating with current and potential customers to enhance customer retention and secure long-term business.
Staying informed about current business market developments to evaluate the company's position and devise improvement strategies.
Creating plans and strategies to explore new business opportunities and achieve the company's sales and margin objectives.
Monitoring customer, market, and competitor activities, and providing feedback to the leadership team and other company functions.
Providing weekly reports on activities and intelligence gathered.
