Instructional Designer

Looking for an experienced instructional designer for our growing Field Management and Leadership Development training curriculum. The ideal candidate will be able to work with subject matter and field experts to analyze learners’ needs, and help design and review instructor-led training (ILT) materials developed with third parties. The candidate may also be asked to create job aids, provide visual enhancements to materials, support maintenance of materials, and help with other L&D tasks.. **

Key Qualifications & Requirements**

• Ability to effectively lead meetings with field experts and translate outcomes into succinct performance outcomes and design documents independently
• Capable of grasping new concepts quickly and converting complex information into easily used and understandable learning materials and communications
• Strong attention to detail and editing skills, particularly for instructor-led training materials
• Experience in graphic and visual design with the ability to conform to Brand Style Guidelines and pre-existing materials to ensure visual consistency
• Ability to address feedback from field experts and SMEs independently
• Capable of working in a fast paced, continually changing environment while meeting tight deadlines
• Strong project management skills, able to prioritize work and effectively influence others to meet project deliverable dates
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote skills
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Acrobat and InDesign
• Experience and knowledge in the insurance/financial services industry and in leadership development a plus
• Well versed in 21st century learning techniques and approaches for the modern learner
