As a Customer Operations Representative you will have responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end administration of military and government contracts from Bid Stage to Contract Award, including data processing on the government portals and internal ERP systems. You will also work with the contracting agencies and internally with legal, finance, sales, and operations to review, draft, and negotiate contract terms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations and company policies.  Ideal candidate would be located in our Morgan Hill office, however we are open to candidates who are not local and can work remotely.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Manage contract modifications, extensions, and amendments, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Monitor and track contract performance, milestones, and deliverables to ensure effective turnaround time.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Address inquiries and communication from government agencies and subcontractors related to contracts and procurement.
  • Participate in contract closeout processes, ensuring that all requirements are met, and records are appropriately maintained.
  • Stay updated on changes in government contracting regulations and industry best practices, advising internal teams on relevant developments.
  • Processing Government orders including Sales Order or Quote transactions, managing the backlog and achieving the quoted lead time.
  • Help with source inspection scheduling and WAWF Entry.
  • Manage all Governmental Portals including WAWF, PIEE, or other tools or systems required for contract bid or award.
  • Train the entire Customer Operations Team to increase knowledge and skillset in Military and Government Contracts and Orders.
  • This position will be reporting to the Customer Operations Supervisor based in Morgan Hill, CA

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related fields.
  • 5+ years’ direct experience with government contract administration, including aerospace and defense industries, and order processing.
  • Must be a U.S citizen due to the contracts that you will be working on
  • Direct experience with understanding contracting regulations, specifically the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Effective interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate record keeping and documentation, ability to leverage negotiated contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Strong aptitude with the Microsoft office suite, as well as any demonstrated expertise with Contract Management Software.
  • Experience with SAP, and Salesforce a huge plus.
  • Business focused and Analytical mindset with clear understanding of both commercial and government contract requirements, and the ability to help close deals.
  • Expertise with ERP Systems and Order Processing functions.

The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
