Marathon TS seeks a Sr. Lead Avionics Engineer to join our team at Hill AFB, UT to support the A-10 Weapon System Support, Analysis, Test, and Integration contract. The A-10 WSSATI contract is critical in supporting the A-10C weapon system (and any future Mission Design Series - MDS), and in facilitating the role of the A-10 SPO as a highly successful prime integrator. This will insure that the A-10 fleet remains a viable part of the cohesive, ready, and agile fighting forces that the Air Force, the Combatant Commanders, and our National Defense Strategy require.
The Sr. Lead Engineer will:
• Support the acquisition and development of systems for a new military program
• Develop components such as training simulators and training curriculum for the new system operators and maintainer
• Lead the integration of the training devices with various networks and facilities that house the devices
• Ensure program requirements are met, understood, and applied
• Work with a team of personnel to plan, organize, manage, and oversee technical and administrative activities related to the design and development of the components
• Support the team using best practices within the realm of Earned Value Management, Agile, and MBSE
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• BA/S in relevant engineering or science discipline (Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics) is required. MS is preferred.
• Seven (7+) years of professional experience in the required task area:
o Experience in ICBM training systems, maintenance, operations, etc. preferred
o Agile, Earned Value Management, Control Account Management preferred
o USAF Nuclear topic education preferred
o Demonstrable experience with Engineering/Agile tools: Cameo, MATLAB, DOORS, JIRA, Confluence
o Classified government IT systems experience
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
