Job Title:Employer Brand StrategistLocation:UK remote with travel to London when requiredWorking Hours/Shifts:Full time / Permanent

The Employer Brand Strategist is the day-to-day primary contact for our clients, building trusted partnerships that grow accounts and robust alliances. Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, profitability, and the timely delivery of quality client projects. The Client Relationship Manager is the lynch pin between the client and AMS teams. They maintain a deep understanding of client’s organisations, challenges, motivations and needs, whilst pulling on SME knowledge from across the wider team to ensure the development of effective employer branding communication strategies. They are accountable for the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget whilst understanding, meeting and, where possible, exceeding the client expectations. In addition, the Brand and Insight portion of this role involves taking responsibility for planning and creating focus groups as part of EVP and TVP projects, analysing the data and developing clear actionable insights to develop into a creative brief.

What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?

Client Management - Taking ownership of assigned client activity with a high level of service delivery that develops and retains AMS as a trusted partner and supplier - Responsible for developing and writing client proposals and pitches with an understanding of client challenges and profitable solutions – drawing upon SME knowledge and insights from across the wider Employer Brand Advisory team - Conducting meetings with clients, and other key stakeholders, as well as keeping them informed and updated on current work status of their projects - Input into strategic annual client development plans - Identifying and converting opportunities to grow relationships and revenues - for existing clients - Writing and executing client creative briefs, inspiring the creative team throughout the process - Presenting work to clients and prospects and taking feedback - Developing deep understanding of relevant client industries and trends - Identifying best practice example work across competitor employer brand activities and apply into new client solutions; share examples with the wider Employer Brand Advisory team - Developing novel research solutions for EVP and TVP projects based on knowledge - and ideally experience of similar insight-based projects including focus groups, online surveys etc. and maintaining knowledge of best practice and new innovative approaches to this kind of work. - Monitoring sector specific awards (RADs, Target etc.) to identify each category and where our work and our clients would compete effectively; using this to identify trends and ideas that can be quickly and easily exploited.

Practice Management - Understand and apply commercial knowledge to drive the performance of a programme of work including developing an understanding of wider AMS business considerations and referral opportunities - Monitoring and maintaining financial data; updating weekly where relevant and working with the Project Manager to ensure timely and accurate invoicing - Promoting a culture of service excellence and client focus, consistently following and inputting on process improvement - Accountable for the quality of output across all client delivery - Support in the development of high-quality presentation documents where required - Collaborate with Client Partner and Brand & Insights Strategist to develop knowledge and identify insights needed to inform strategic plans, proposal and pitches - Keeping up to date with latest insights and market trends - Working collaboratively with Talent Attraction & Candidate Experience (TACE) partners on shared accounts - Understanding of AMS systems - Asana, D365, Smartsheet and NFI etc. and maintaining knowledge of these on an ongoing basis - Taking personal responsibility for own Training and development through AMS and/or online independent courses and resources

New Business & Growth - Supporting in new business pitches - Establishing relationships with new clients - Increase the knowledge sharing between the EBA team and the RPO and Talent Attraction & Candidate Experience (TACE) teams - Contributing to the wider AMS offering and support in making the EBA - team one of the most reliable and knowledgeable voices in the employer branding industry

What do I need to succeed in this role?

Must haves: - Relevant previous experience within a similar employer brand/HR/talent communications agency environment and experience of managing and delivering EVP/TVP projects - Experience of developing and delivering complex projects, correctly on time - and budget - Experience of managing client expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle, delivering an excellent client stakeholder experience, building trust and credibility - Previous experience of effective strategic creative brief writing - A highly effective communicator - Highly persuasive and credible, whilst able to build trusted and solid relationships with clients, supplier and colleagues alike quickly and effectively - Financial awareness and commercial mindset

Nice to haves: - Experience of working with remote teams - Knowledge of end-to-end project delivery - Strong consulting skills and an ability to accurately diagnose a client’s challenges and develop holistic strategies to meet their objectives and deliver a strong ROI - Experience of developing clients and management of a portfolio of assigned client business - High focus on quality control and service excellence
