Job Summary:
As a Driver at Paradise Architectural PANELS & STEEL, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials and products to and from job sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and products to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials and products onto trucks using proper equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Inspect and maintain company vehicles, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as a commercial driver
- Familiarity with local roads and highways in the Phoenix area
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and products
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
