Job description

Job Summary

This is a senior position for an experienced project manager with at least 5 years of project management experience working on multiple projects with a proven track record of delivery and attention to detail.

Requirements for the position:

  • Define and review project scope
  • Successfully plan and track execution while maintaining profitable engagement stakeholders
  • Work closely with all project stakeholder groups to coordinate the project milestones
  • Define and lead financial management for the project
  • Track project actuals against defined milestones and revisit the overall plan as and when necessary
  • Understand and translate cross-team dependencies into actionable plans
  • Analyze staffing requirements and resource allocations
  • Ensure delivered products meet defined business requirements and are of high quality
  • Proactively identify and manage risks.
  • Plan for an effective risk mitigation
  • Lead change management process for projects
  • Track projects against approved budgets and report on forecasts and variances
  • Provide periodic progress reports on project status
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to meet the desired objectives
  • Build a communications strategy and execution plan for the project
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Become engaged with multiple squads and work alongside scrum masters and Product Owners to ensure project audits are fully compliant and documentation is properly kept
  • Manage tasks and timesheets for multiple Agile squads

Software Skills Desired:

  • Jira
  • MS Office suite with intermediate+ knowledge of Word, Excel (pivot tables), and Powerpoint
  • HP PPM
  • PowerBI

ADDITIONAL INFO

All candidates presented must know that when hired for the role that they will start out working remotely initially due to COVID-19 the offices closed but that they must be expected to work onsite in the office once offices are reopened (tentative target in Q2). When office reopens: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (subject to change based on team business needs).
