Position: Copywriter
Number of hours: 10 hours/week
Schedule: PST
Tasks required:
Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets client/company needs and deadlines
Meet with client to understand their message, brand voice and target audience
Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing
Propose copy concepts in a comprehensible and engaging way
Produce copies for marketing materials, social media posts, and paid advertisements
Drive brand consistency across all company communications
Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
Assist in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content
Work with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations
Other ad hoc tasks to be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Copywriter or relevant experience
Bachelors degree in English, communications, or a related field is highly preferred
Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns with a portfolio of work over a wide range of projects
Exceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms
Broad knowledge of suitable copies for different scenarios and across different niches/industries
Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels
Strong communication, research, and typing skills
Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation
Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Documents
Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
Willingness to meet deadlines
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn rapidly
