Job description

Our client is an accredited online university offering great programs across many industries. They are seeking a detailed orientated Data Entry Specialist to join their team!

You will be working on a special project responding to inquiries from the Department of Education. Having strong data entry skills and knowledge of MS office (Word & Excel). Logging inquiries, retrieving student documents from the student information systems and drafting responses based on templates that they have created

Duties:

  • Entering student information into the system
  • Pull files and respond with templated forms
  • Logging in cases
  • Entry data into excel and file paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned by team members

What you've accomplished:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Data Entry or similar experience that required entering information.
  • Experience with entering information into Excel from a template
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Requires being comfortable with repetitive work and sitting in front of a computer for 8hrs
  • Great experience with sifting through high volume of emails, responding to emails and organizing tasks requested in emails.
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to convert Word document into PDF helpful
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat helpful but not required
  • Education and or Financial industry background a plus but not required
  • Attention to detail must have worked in a role that requires inputting information correctly with no errors.
  • Pass background check
