KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure global adherence to the published authority matrix and governance models.
Write effective, concise, and compelling content while under the pressure associated with contract deadlines.
Monitor the progress of individual answers/contributors and regularly report to the CFO/CEO to ensure the smooth production of the overall document, including submission of high-quality final content by the deadline.
Ensure professional contracts, agreements, SLAs etc are submitted on time and compliant by law in various legislations.
Review and edit written content where necessary, working with other team members to produce written responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines while reducing risk.
Ensure compliance with company regulatory requirements.
Analyse, monitor, and evaluate projects. Perform research on information for each contract, agreement etc. requirement and present in a report format.
Liaise with internal and external lawyers, accountants, and regulatory bodies.
Establish, maintain, and develop a legal database/library of contracts and agreements, standard documentation, and templates of best practice. Carry out work to develop detailed standard answer templates/structures, including the appropriate use of attractive graphics.
Provide support to internal colleagues on company secretarial related matters.
Assist in International operational requirements, and develop and maintain documentation, files and reports which support operations.
Be the key liaison between company and company secretary in multiple jurisdictions.
Ensure various company Board Meetings are scheduled and minutes are taken and distributed thereafter.
Ensure KYC Controls and compliance are adhered to, updated, and controlled. Corporate KYC Database is maintained for 3rd party requests at all times.
Ensure continuous business risk reviews are held and identify potential risks within the business.
Ensure company contracts, letterheads etc are accurate and updated.
Build and maintain compliance processes and models within the group across all divisions.
Ensure corporate governance and controls are monitored, reported on and maintained.
Open and/or close down corporate entities in different jurisdictions and manage the process with third parties.
Liaise with Aviation specialists where required in terms of leasing and financing.
Ensure compliance with all laws and mitigate all legal risks when operating in foreign countries under various contract provisions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:
Tertiary qualification in Law/Legal or a related field
Knowledge of French, South African, Irish, and Mauritian law (advantageous)
Experience in Company Secretarial and/or Corporate Governance and /or Compliance Officer work in a global environment
Experience in drafting contracts, resolutions, agreements, SLAs (ability to demonstrate effective contract writing skills)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience
Languages: English and French (written and verbal essential)
