Area Sales Manager - construction building products into builders merchants (£45K basic + bonus) plus excellent benefits.

Area: North West, North East and Yorkshire

The Role of Area Sales Manager - heavy side construction products into merchants

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling our clients range of heavy side construction products. You will be tasked with managing relationships key Builders Merchants Accounts that will include the likes of Travis Perkins, Jewsons & MKM as well as leading independent mixed buying groups including Fortis & NBG. The successful Area Sales Manager will also spend time with Contractors, End-Users and House-builders stimulating demand with builders merchants. You will attend trade shows and network with clients within the industry. This role is predominantly account management / growth and relationship management focussed.

The Candidate

  • Field sales experience, having either worked for a builders merchant or sold to builders merchants.
  • This would a suite 2nd / 3rd career move.
  • My client is looking for a career minded Area Sales Manager - with a stable track record.
