The Role of Area Sales Manager
This is a field / home based role. As an Area Sales Manager this role is more account management than new business. You will promote the companies range of construction branded equipment; managing relationships with Main Contractors such as Skanska, Balfour Beatty and Laing O'Rouke etc. As Area Sales Manager, you will also deal and manage relationships with tool hire companies such as Speedy Hire, Brandon Tool Hire and Sunbelt Rentals etc, as well as larger sub-contractors. There are long standing pre-existing relationships in place and this role will therefore suit a candidate with superb relationship building skills who can maintain and develop existing accounts. The successful Area Sales Manager will deal with a multitude of decision makers that include procurement, branch managers, sub-contractors, owners and heath & safety managers.
