Area Sales Manager - commodity building products

Area: Ireland - It is required that you live in Northern Ireland

The Role of Area Sales Manager

  • This is a field home based role covering Ireland.
  • This is an Account Management role selling timber and flooring products.
  • The customer base is made up of national and independent builders merchants (including MKM Jewson, Travis Perkins etc), timber engineering companies such as (Howarth Timber, Staircraft, Donaldson's etc) as well as independent housing developers. There will also be some occasional involvement with Buying Groups such as Fortis and NBG.
  • The successful Area Sales Manager will inherit a strong client base and will be tasked with developing relationships and uncovering growth opportunities within these accounts.

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager

  • We are looking for a field sales professional that has experience in any of the following:
  • Sold a construction product into builders merchants
  • OR sold construction products into house builders
  • OR worked for a builders merchants as a field sales, Area Sales Manager, BDM or Territory Sales Manager

The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager

  • up to £45,000
  • 20% OTE / Bonus
  • Hybrid car or generous £700PM car allowance
  • 25 days holiday plus stats
  • Fuel card
  • 14% combined pension
