En tant que Pathologiste Clinique chez IDEXX, vous serez responsable d’examiner les échantillons microscopiques soumis en pathologie clinique et de fournir des rapports diagnostiques, ainsi que de répondre à toutes demandes de consultations ultérieures. Attentes liées à ce poste :
Rencontrer les attentes de charge de travail et des délais d’analyse.
Consulter et collaborer avec les autres pathologistes, au besoin, afin de promouvoir l’entraide.
Interagir avec, conseiller, et venir en aide au personnel du laboratoire en ce qui a trait à la préparation des échantillons.
Promouvoir la croissance d’IDEXX en participant de façon active aux rencontres d’équipe, et développer et maintenir des relations/contacts professionnels avec les clients.
Participer aux programmes de contrôle de la qualité.
Maintenir ses connaissances et accroître ses compétences diagnostiques en prenant part régulièrement à des activités d’éducation continue.
Du temps peut être alloué en dehors des responsabilités régulières de diagnostic pour permettre au pathologiste de participer à d’autres activités professionnelles, avec l’approbation de la direction.
Pourrait être périodiquement demandé à travailler le weekend.
De quoi avez-vous besoin pour réussir dans ce rôle?
Doctorat en médecine vétérinaire (DMV) requis
Certification de Diplomate en Pathologie - de l’American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) ou de l’European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP)
Connaissances des sujets et enjeux en médecine vétérinaire clinique.
Habileté à écrire à l’aide d’un clavier et à utiliser un appareil de dictée.
Excellentes compétences verbales et de communication.
Attitude de travail orientée vers le service à la clientèle.
Habileté à organiser et prioriser son travail.
Habileté à utiliser un ordinateur.

As a Clinical Pathologist with IDEXX, you will be responsible for gross and/or microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens to provide clients with diagnostic evaluations, as well as any necessary follow-up consultation. A high level of importance is placed on quality, timeliness, and customer service.
What to expect in this role:
Meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
Consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality.
Interact with, advise, and assist laboratory personnel in proper specimen processing techniques and function as the pathologist on duty.
Promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating in pathologist meetings and developing and maintaining professional relationships/contact with clients.
Participate in quality control programs.
Maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through regular continuing education.
Time may be provided off from routine diagnostic responsibilities to allow the pathologist to engage in other professional activities as approved by management. Such activities should improve the function or professional reputation of IDEXX.
May be responsible for periodic weekend duty.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required.
Pathology Board Certified - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or ECVP preferred.
Familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
Ability to type and use dictation equipment.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
A service-oriented attitude.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Computer skills are required.
