The Role
Veeva is looking for an Account Partner with cloud software experience to drive sales of Vault applications at MedTech (Medical Device and Diagnostic) companies in Japan. The Account Partner will be responsible for generating opportunities, winning new business, and managing strategic relationships within MedTech companies.
Candidates should have experience working with multinational corporations (MNCs) and an ability to collaborate with internal colleagues across regions in both Japanese and English. Understanding of the life science industry, enterprise software sales cycle and an ability to successfully communicate across various business functions and organizational levels are central to the role.
What You'll DoUnderstand and present Veeva products and inspire prospect interestManage relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, and C-levelMeet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targetsContribute to MedTech team quarterly and annual sales goalsManage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriateKeep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challengesProactively learn product, and life science business knowledge, and continuously build relationships within the industryProactively coordinate Veeva internal team communication (Arrange meetings, create meeting minutes, manage schedules, set agenda, etc.)Proactively coordinate customer contacts within Japan (Keep track of their opinions, arrange meetings, create meeting minutes, manage schedules, set agenda, etc.)Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customerRequirementsAt least 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software and related servicesMust be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervisionProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotasStrategic account planning and execution skillsExperience with accounts with global operations preferredExperience with complex selling cycles - selling to C-Suite, strategic, multi-threaded account strategy10+ years experience working within or related to MedTech.
