Our Corporate Finance Division as a Premium Tax Consultant
Job Responsibilities - Specific duties include but not limited to the below: - Assist with all taxes department duties - Assist on preparation of premium tax returns - Process and allocate various state assessments for payment - Prepare, book and reconcile various journal entries - Process return for payment and filing
Desired Skills/Experience - Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance - 2+ of accounting or finance experience with a property/casualty insurance organization - Statutory accounting knowledge including preparation of premium taxes - Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to use complex formulas and pivot tables to manipulate data - Premium Pro and Great Plains experience is a plus
