Cella is in search of a Creative Marketing Project Manager to join the in-house creative services team at one of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US and the world!

The Project Manager (PM) serves as the day-to-day contact on projects (for clients and team members) and is responsible for the end-to-end management of each project with internal teams. This role must successfully navigate and manage multiple concurrent projects across media channels including, but not limited to digital, video, print and social media. The position calls for broad knowledge of the digital and print landscape and the ability to lead projects, campaigns and/or individual tactics in close collaboration with internal teams, marketing partners, business stakeholders and external technical teams. The Project Manager ensures the team is set up for success, and helps the team stay focused on and meet goals and objectives.

PMs are highly effective communicators between clients and technical and non-technical stakeholders maintaining transparency expectations and building relationships and trust with all parties at all times. At any given time, PMs must be able to manage a workload of high-volume and fast-paced projects with life cycles of several weeks to several months.

This position is a long-term contract opportunity through Cella, with healthcare benefits available, PTO, and 401k. The role is 100% remote but EST or CST working hours are required. **

Responsibilities:**

  • Manage client expectations on projects, including timing, scope, and next steps.
  • Own daily project management to include, but not limited to; setting project context, create project schedules & timelines, facilitate project meetings, timely workflow facilitation, project updates and status reporting to clients and team and fostering project execution.
  • Drive and facilitate cross-functional team coordination, goal alignment and budget management.
  • Have a solid grasp of basic and advanced project management principles along with having experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles.
  • Build, communicate and execute well-informed and detailed project plans.
  • Effectively communicate project plans and what informs and impacts each plan to set clear expectations, accountability and smooth execution.
  • Communicate with creative and production teams, monitor project status, and move projects forward by removing blockers, mitigating risks and escalating friction points.
  • Act as liaison between technical, creative and planning/strategy teams to ensure the end result delivers on time.
  • Develop a solid partnership with the creative team to provide a strong and unified front to the client.
  • Deliver feedback that is strategic, clear and actionable for the team.
  • Assess and consult on technical feasibility and approach for projects; ensure technical and functional requirements are documented as needed.
  • Act as primary or support project manager as needed.
  • Navigate ambiguity and propose solutions based on project goals and objectives.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Superior communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Successful track record of client service in a marketing or creative environment.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and requests.
  • Project management software experience - Wrike preferred, Workfront, Smartsheets, etc.
  • Proficient Microsoft Windows skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Superior customer service ethic with excellent client relationship skills.
  • Solid understanding of the business and value of creative services.
  • Ability to present self and work professionally and persuasively to clients.
  • Ability to analyze trends in workflow on a client and team level.
  • Ability to balance workloads across team and department.
  • Well-established organization, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Adept at crisis management.
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to gain client trust and effectively manage client expectations.
  • General understanding of the creative process (print and digital, video experience a plus).
  • Able to analyze data and proactively present solutions to improve workflow efficiency accordingly.
  • Superior problem-solving ability and professional judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Demonstrated poise, grace under pressure, initiative and resourcefulness and the ability to motivate teams through a positive approach.
  • Willingness to be flexible to project needs; availability to work occasional long days and weekends.
  • Have deep familiarity with project management principles and practices - primarily waterfall (agile is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of graphic design skills and Adobe Products.
  • Experience with teams, methods and strategies for digital - web design/websites, email development and execution.
  • Has a naturally curious mind and passion for storytelling across media.
  • Strong understanding of print development, building mechanicals and delivering artwork files to print vendors.
  • Strong preference for those who have worked in pharma previously.
  • Strong plus if candidate has worked previously with Veeva Vault.
  • Has proven experience with digital, integrated and cross platform campaigns.
  • External agency experience (internal studio experience a plus).
