JOB SUMMARY:

Argano’s Salesforce practice has completed hundreds of successful, multi-cloud projects across various Salesforce clouds including Sales, Revenue, Experience, Service, and Commerce. We leverage our decades of SFDC solutioning experience to help our clients streamline revenue operations with Quote to Cash solutions, optimize customer experience with multi-channel, digital service experiences, and empower customers and channel partners self-service portals and communities.

We are looking for a Chief Architect at Argano to play a vital role in shaping the company's technical direction and are viewed as experts in within the Solutions Architect family. As an expert in the field, you will use professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. The Chief Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architectural aspects of complex and large-scale Salesforce projects. They are the visionary project leaders who provides high-level guidance, interfaces with technical experts, and ensures end-to-end solutioning for the most critical initiatives. They are responsible for the design of large-scale projects with complete knowledge of Argano’s services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and maintain a cohesive enterprise architecture framework.
  • Provides guidance to other areas including architects.
  • Engage with key clients and partners, providing insights and high-level technical consultancy.
  • Participating in design development meetings with clients to discuss design concepts and revisions.
  • Articulate technology solutions and explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives.
  • Develops and maintains architecture diagrams for identified portfolio of business applications related to a value stream or a set of business or technology capabilities.
  • Develops long-term strategies and roadmaps in all architecture disciplines to meet IT and related business goals and identify risk scenarios and mitigation plans.
  • Provide direction to all project teams during the configuration and test phase to meet the proposed solutions.
  • Monitors external evolution in technologies that will impact IT and the business and ensures adequate plans are in place to assure readiness.
  • Project team coaching, mentorship, governance around best practices.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • +15 years of experience in Technology or Professional Services.
  • At least 5 implementation projects as Principal Solutions Architect
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as project technical lead organizing and advising.
  • Extensive experience in senior architectural roles and a proven track record of delivering large-scale, innovative solutions.
  • Experience working with various levels in Engineering and Professional Services including design, development and implementation of projects related to B2B, EAI Interfaces, ERP, EDI, Internet, and Web Architecture.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect

  • Architectural Expertise: Mastery of solution architecture principles, including the ability to design complex, large-scale solutions. Proficiency in creating and interpreting high-level architectural diagrams and blueprints.
  • Technical Leadership: Capability to make informed and strategic technical decisions and provide high-level guidance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Visionary thinking to shape the company's long-term technical strategy and direction. Capacity to make decisions that align with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess trade-offs and make informed decisions and ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Innovation: Proven track record of proposing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business success.
  • Client Engagement: Strong client-facing skills, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and providing deep technical consultancy.

The base compensation range for this position in the United States is $190,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience. Argano also offers a performance-based bonus and strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Parental Leave and Flexible Time Off.
