Job Summary :

Technical Business Analyst gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes business needs, documenting requirements/stories and revising existing system and process logic issues. Analyzing complex business problems and assessing how automated systems can solve them Translating business requirements into highly specified project requirements. Assisting with Architecting cost-effective solutions and opportunities of varying complexity by collaborating with business stakeholders, technical leads, development team and testing team. **

Job Duties** :

  • Work with the Business Team/Product Owners to define requirements, work with business stakeholders for prioritization and delivery of new capabilities, features, defect fixes, and functionality.
  • MUST be experienced in SCRUM/Agile development methodology; MUST be experienced with Jira
  • Understand business use cases and end-user needs; develop user stories and acceptance criteria that deliver on business and end-user needs; identify and manage the backlog collaboratively with dev tech leads to create sprint releases to meet those needs
  • As a member of the development team, reporting to technical lead, maximize the value of the role during all stages of product development and delivery activities, including user story development, sprint planning and reviews, and product backlog management
  • Provide scope oversight and guidance in development planning to determine the team’s objectives for the upcoming product sprint releases
  • Manage the product backlog in partnership with the Business Team/Product Owners
  • Escalate any technical impediments to the Tech Leads. Escalate Risks that could impact the project to the Project Management
  • Work with the development team to ensure features, bugs, and enhancements are addressed and scoped in an Agile fashion
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, story refinement/grooming and team retrospectives; ensure team has a clear understanding of the priorities, the stories on the backlog, and the product vision and how the stories relate to another
  • Lead Backlog requirements sessions with the Business Team/Product Owners in order to create a logical backlog that can be actioned upon by the dev team
  • Utilize and incorporate feedback from the Business Team/Product Owners into enhancements
  • Experienced and comfortable with Agile approach

Skills :

  • Practitioners must have a technical and project management background, in addition to strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and foster client relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office products, Visio and the Agile software development lifecycle are musts, as is experience working with SQL for querying data.
  • Advance professional with ability to apply concepts, practices & procedures
  • Works with minimal direction and able to lead and train others
  • High level of expertise in required skill set
