The Learning Experience Designer serves an integral role on a small team of designers. Together with our stakeholders and engineering teams, we transform user research into software, related business processes, and continually updated learning materials. The Learning Experience Designer supports the effort through creating and interacting with comprehensive user training, resources, and activities. This person works closely with user research to translate user needs into useful, accessible, and delightful learning and support experiences for our highly technical developer user community. The ideal candidate will own the developer tech tool learning experience and be able to create innovative ways to engage the community. This is an applied design role. The ideal candidate will be able to take actions based on their design recommendations. **

Minimum Qualifications**

  • Three or more years of experience in user experience design, customer experience, or customer engagement design
  • Experience with information and visual design, layout, iconography, writing and design system implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in design, user experience, human factors, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working directly with software engineers and project managers to respond to stakeholder needs
  • Proven ability to collaboratively transform user research into useful, accessible, shareable learning materials and activities
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and best practices and how they motivate communities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate between human relationships and technical requirements with agility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly ramp up in a highly technical DevSecOps environment
  • You enjoy complexity and can navigate large volumes of structured and unstructured information and relationships
  • You are able to communicate orally, in writing, and visually in a software-constrained environment using a prescribed toolset
  • You are familiar with with Atlassian Suite project management software
  • You have experience in an Agile environment, including scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standup, retros)

Compensation And Benefits**

Salary: $80,000- $98,304

As a Full-time RVCM employee, you can also expect these additional benefits:
