You Are**

UST is looking for a Test Lead who will leverage specialist testing knowledge to define and implement test practices and strategies for a portfolio or program. **

The Opportunity**

  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release.
  • Develop and implement test plans and test strategies.
  • Allocate resources and responsibilities based on project needs.
  • Lead the execution of manual test cases and ensure timely completion.
  • Coordination with the offshore team
  • Oversee defect tracking, ensure timely resolution, and prioritize defects.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the manual testing team.
  • Review and approve test cases, scripts, and scenarios created by team members.
  • Ensure test cases cover all requirements and user stories.
  • Communicate regularly on testing progress, milestones, and risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Ensure all testing documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
  • Collaborate with developers, product/project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement improvements in testing processes and tools.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. **

What You Need**

  • Overall 8+ years in software testing and 3+ years in Healthcare projects
  • 5+ Years of Hands-on experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
  • Experience as onsite coordinator for test management and offshore team coordination
  • Need a deep understanding of software development, and architecture to help drive quality early in the life cycle of a product development.
  • Hands-on experience in functional and non-functional testing.
  • Strong domain experience and knowledge of the Healthcare domain
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Proven expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with client stakeholders & cross-functional / 3rd party teams.
  • Exposure to DevOps CI-CD/Continuous testing using Jenkins/ADO
  • Any certification related to software testing (e.g., ISTQB Advanced).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or additional comparable experience

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. **

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:** $82,000-$122,000
