You Are**

The Business Management Manager will be a strategic partner to the leader of Product technology. Responsible for product management and delivery. Provides leadership and guidance to ensure objectives are met in accordance with ePMO standards. This position will manage distinct projects through all specific phases, in alignment with business and/or organizational strategies. Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with business and executive stakeholders within a single or across multiple Lines of Business. This includes areas driven by compliance and security, demand related to operational efficiency, cost optimization, and other operational work. The Manager provides leadership in best practices and assists with increasing the project management capabilities within the organization along with analyzing for process improvement and alignment in delivery and support driven by compliance and security, demand related to operational efficiency, and cost optimization. This role will support and integrate within the product and technology leadership team to support cost-benefit analysis, and total cost of ownership; ensuring business value provided by the portfolio is documented and communicated appropriately. This position requires strategic and tactical planning and organizing skills. **

The Opportunity**

  • Assist with standardizing project language and terms, best practices, goals, resource management communication channels, and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Develop a methodology for standardized project management.
  • Participates in the development of the annual departmental budget, monitors budget, and identifies budget discrepancies.
  • Research cause and make recommendations.
  • Responsible for liaison activities between the product technology organization and the business to ensure all aspects of product technology services are communicated to the business effectively.
  • Responsible for communications plans of the technology group including direct reports, leadership, and all staff meetings.
  • Building and leading teams.
  • Oversee the planning, developing, and maintaining the portfolio of strategic and tactical initiatives in support of running product technology operations.
  • Responsible for leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle to achieve project objectives
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties
  • Managing a team and overseeing multiple projects within our organization
  • Responsible for comprehensive project timelines including sign-off from all work streams
  • Educates project teams on these standards and works with leadership to constantly improve project management processes and deliverables.
  • Manages multiple projects, establishes workflows, and ensures team meets necessary deadlines
  • Provide frequent and effective communication to all stakeholders, members, and leaders
  • Anticipate risks and work with teams to create mitigation plans
  • Escalate significant /blocking issues and risks to leadership
  • Track and coordinate all projects and initiatives across the organization by working directly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and project leads
  • Oversee product and portfolio planning focused on enhanced business capabilities that support the overall business strategy.
  • Key partner in presenting strategic alternatives and their relative benefits to the business and technology stakeholders.
  • Oversees budget planning based on short- and long-term strategies.
  • Assists with mitigating technology resource conflicts in support of business priorities.
  • Oversees actual spending against forecast spend by portfolio components.
  • Works with the leadership team to oversee, develop, maintain, and coordinate the Portfolio plan.
  • Support product technology resource capacity management - planning, utilization, and management of resources.
  • Work in collaboration with product technology leaders to improve the estimation of resources and capture actual projects
  • Oversees tracking and benefits realization activities (with Finance).
  • Provides the major inputs to review committees to support the decision-making process.
  • Directly supervises exempt staff in accordance with company policies and applicable Federal and State laws.

What You Need**

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Continuous learning, as defined by the company’s learning philosophy.
  • Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
  • Minimum ten (10) years relevant experience in a technology and delivery environment which provides the necessary skills

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST HealthProof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. **

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range:** $111,700 - $161,900
