The Ford Champs Program provides undergraduate students with hands-on, career-specific experience inside Ford of Mexico. **

Ford Champs program** will allow to get to know different business areas through 12 to 24 months, while you improve your skills and become a better professional.

The PVT EESE Ford Champ is the co-located Product Development Engineer for the current and past model, whose principal responsibilities reside in addressing customer concerns from the product standpoint: **

Responsibilities**

This position is responsible to support general in plant SW:

  • SW solution implementation
  • Update Engineering SW versions (re-flash)
  • Engineering Change Control
  • Engineering functional testing
  • Vehicle sign-off

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • In process to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
  • Strong learning agility.
  • Systems thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex issues.
  • Emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
  • Basic functional knowledge about electrical module design, networking, wiring, power distribution, chassis systems, lighting systems, etc.
  • Electrical Systems Engineering experience.
  • Electrical D&R experience
  • Electrical testing experience
