As the Director of Sales Worldwide Accounts Entertainment , you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the Entertainment Sales Accounts team reporting to the Assistant Managing Director of Sales Entertainment, you will focus on leading a portfolio of Hilton’s Entertainment and Media clients providing Total Account Management. You will identify, develop, and manage accounts to drive revenue and market share growth. You will also increase performance through internal and external development.

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. **

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**

  • Be the Subject Matter Specialist and lead between the customer and our hotels to ensure that they understand the full scope of the opportunity to improve our position in their respective comp set.
  • Investigate all business opportunities within each account. Develop and implement total account planning strategies to facilitate growth.
  • Maintain account qualification and compliance with account governance protocol.
  • Mentor hotel and Hilton Sales team members in their involvement in educational and annual programs through your understanding of this segment.
  • Cultivate clients' daily needs while identifying viable opportunities for deliberate initiatives crafted to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Anticipate client needs and develop a sales method that is tailored to each client.
  • Network with business decision-makers and executives to influence positive buying. This will require an understanding of industry trends that impact customer buying to offer creative solutions.
  • Engage in relevant industry organizations and events.
  • Ensure all revenue targets are achieved, providing total account management.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Collaborate with Hilton Direct Partnership Team Members, International Specialists, and Sales Support to align on accounts and efficiencies.
  • Work with the HWS Entertainment team on account strategies and goals.
  • Represent Hilton at industry trade shows, special industry events, roadshows, and other activities to elevate the positive customer awareness of Hilton to increase segment growth.
  • Contribute to game planning and account planning strategies.

What Deliverables You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Develop and implement Account Plans.
  • Present Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Identify customer difficulties and implement solutions to ensure ease of business with Hilton Hotels
  • Plan important industry events and client engagement opportunities

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of selling experience working in the group and transient sales segments.
  • Experience in the hotel industry within entertainment market is critical.
  • Experience maintaining national/global accounts.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience using Salesforce and Delphi
  • Experience in the Sports Market
