As a team member, you will contribute to a sustainable low-carbon energy sector by allowing decentralized assets to become real actors in the energy transition.

Job Description

Your role

Flexcity is quickly expanding its activities to new asset types and is now optimizing: Wind Power, Solar Power, Batteries, Electric Vehicles, boilers etc. Flexcity is looking for an Energy Products Marketer to help market the services Flexcity can offer to owners of these new asset types and make Flexcity the go-to optimizer for those asset owners.

As Energy Marketer, you will join a dynamic team committed to the energy transition and immediately be given your own responsibilities. You will be the reference person within Flexcity for communication and marketing. You will intensely focus on the packaging and marketing of new products. Besides, you will improve the overall marketing/communication strategy, helping Flexcity spread its positive story and generate new leads. To do this, you will, among others, perform competitor analysis and work on improving customer interaction through different channels.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be part of the cross-border Product Department
  • You will assist the product team in developing go-to-market stories of new products
  • You will interact with clients, Flexcity’s Portfolio, Sales and Product teams of different countries to understand product use cases and innovative products Flexcity offers
  • You will create commercial material for new products: marketing copy, blog content, case studies etc..
  • You will assist the countries with their communication and marketing needs
  • Help improve Flexcity’s community engagement with communication campaigns
  • You will perform competitor analysis to improve Flexcity’s position in the market
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies within the energy sector to ensure our products remain competitive.
  • Event planner: you assist the team in different events, fairs
  • Brand development: establish and promote the Flexcity brand across different channels to drive lead generation.
  • Public relations: manage PR efforts to build a positive image of the company
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with marketing materials and strategies to assist in closing deals.

Qualifications

  • You combine a strong analytical and creative mindset
  • You have a great affinity for both the energy sector and marketing/communications.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch or French
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • You address challenges proactively and have a can-do mentality
  • You are flexible, not afraid to think outside the box, and love sharing your knowledge.
  • You are deliverable-focused with a pragmatic and professional attitude.

Nice-to-have

  • You have experience in marketing and brand development
  • You have experience in the energy sector
