Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Part Time Senior Staff Engineer that spans the bidding process through the life of the program to join them. You will report to the Senior Actuation Engineering Manager and will have a remote work schedule in Everett, Washington. **

To be considered for the Part Time Senior Staff Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:**

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (an advanced graduate level degree in Engineering is a plus)
At least 10 years’ experience as a manager in a leadership role
Relevant industry experience and proven capabilities managing and working collaboratively within a multicultural geographically dispersed environment
Demonstrated business acumen providing technical support on programs to quickly and effectively resolve problems
Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of Military Aircraft Actuation from those within this industry

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will:

Be an active participant in Sector & Engineering leadership teams, ensuring technical solutions and initiatives are fully integrated into functional and Group business objectives, priorities, and mission
Work closely with Group and Sector functions to assess present and future business needs and direction
Ensure programs are set up for success early in the process and ensure major in service issues are resolved quickly and cost effectively
Emphasize positive customer relationships
Initiate and enforce risk reduction techniques to reduce impacts to schedule, technical solutions and cost over runs

Salary:

The base pay range for this opportunity is $127,961.60 - $172,000.00 per year
