How You Will Make An Impact
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. **
What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**
- Represent the customer within the team; this includes supporting and validating big-picture concepts to ground-level implementation.
- Lead all aspects of evaluative and generative user experience research through qualitative methodologies including by not limited to testing prototypes through user interviews, coordinating in-depth usability testing, mining user analytics.
- Capture customer perception using accurate user experience research methodologies in a lean fashion while remaining objective in representing findings.
- Complete small- to medium-sized qualitative studies with customers of our digital products by collecting requirements, planning, designing, crafting, launching the studies, and reporting on findings.
- Adapt and support changes in schedule and scope.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- Support diverse teams who work in a human-centered design model, focusing on the customer and providing feedback to aid the business, UX, design, and other groups in creating optimized products.
- Work with product teams to understand needs, requirements, and strategies.
- Work with the Experience Design team to ensure research findings are shared and incorporated into other initiatives.
What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of
- Work with product teams to manage the research roadmap to include exploration and de-risking of new features, capabilities, or enhancements for Hilton's digital shop journey.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of overall work experience in qualitative research.
- Two (2) years of overall work experience in User Experience (UX).
- Experience with several UX research methodologies
- Experience in research moderation/facilitation and questionnaire design
- Open to travel up to 10%
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- Bachelors degree, or Associate's degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of technology related experience
- Four (4)+ years of user experience (UX) research experience
