Duties include:**

The Revenue Specialist is an active role for Hyatt Places in Brazil reporting to General Managers and working in collaboration with Sales, Events and Marketing teams to maximize the overall hotel revenue for rooms through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies.

  • Out-perform direct competitors by winning market share with through pricing, distribution, and marketing strategies coupled with skilled management of hotel inventory to maximize profits.
  • Manage and oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that supports and evaluates hotel business strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.
  • Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition.
  • Regularly interface with the sales, operations, and marketing departments, effectively communicating trends and tactics of our hotel and comp set to assist the teams with making strategic decisions.
  • Active participant in monthly and weekly commercial services presentations with key stakeholders as well as running a weekly strategy meeting.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years as a Revenue Specialist in the hotel industry
  • Strong organization and analytical skill
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with an established history of driving results
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration: Finance, Economy or Hotel/Hospitality is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
