Job description

  • This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN, or Remote***

This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton’s growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio! As an Admin Assistant, you will partner with our Development Team who help our owners in every stage of designing, building, and managing their unique properties. On the Development team reporting to the VP Managing Director of Development, you will support the US and Canada Development team by assisting with the current process outlined for Development franchise and management application approvals. **

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. **

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**

  • Draft and prepare memorandums and business correspondence, ensuring the accuracy of all documents provided related explicitly to the franchise application process and franchise documentation.
  • Work directly with owners and developers on unique projects such as Multi-Unit Deals, research on hotel ownership, and potential conversions in the region.
  • Create and maintain presentations for internal and external team meetings.
  • Compile data into spreadsheets utilizing internal databases: OnQ Insider, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Salesforce.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Act as the liaison between development and various departments related to the franchise approval process.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external department activities, including but not limited to team meetings and regional conferences.

What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly departmental special reports as needed.
  • Maintain constant communication with the regional developers as to the status of the franchise applications.
  • Ensure all daily operational functions are completed smoothly and efficiently.

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Degree/GED
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Concur, and Salesforce
  • Travel up to 10%.

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma
  • Prior experience within the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with MicroStrategy, Tableau, Photoshop, and/or similar programs
