Lawyers for Employee & Consumer Rights, a well-established California-based labor and employment firm, is seeking to hire a Senior Attorney (5+ years) with extensive Labor & Employment experience. The firm exclusively represents employees in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations, which are becoming increasingly common. The firm covers all types of claims, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, worker misclassification, clock/rest issues, etc.
The position requires an experienced attorney who is familiar with all stages of litigation and can hit the ground running. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for representing and growing his/her own caseload (primarily cases in pre-litigation) and supervising and managing the productivity and quality of service provided by the firm’s associate attorneys.
The Senior Attorney's responsibilities will also include recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to strengthen the firm's legal team, assisting with reviews and promotions, determining attorney salaries and billing rates, and making recommendations for improvement.
This is a terrific and unique opportunity to take a hands-on leadership role at a plaintiff’s firm with an established track record, a solid support team/structure and existing business already in place. The position can be fully REMOTE and offers a competitive compensation package that includes $100,000+ in salary (commensurate with experience) + quarterly bonuses, 401(k) plan, generous paid time-off, medical, dental and vision insurance, and opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
