Job Overview**

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The Financial Crimes Senior Risk and Control Associate is responsible for providing guidance, developing, and executing ongoing processes within the BSA/AML Program. This role is responsible directly to the Financial Crimes Advisory Team Leader. This position will also work in close collaboration with stakeholders across the firm including in Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Legal. **

Primary Responsibilities For The Position Include**

  • Drive design and implementation of enhancements to the Firm's overall BSA/AML Program.
  • Support the Team Leader in developing and executing the Program's AML Training, Policy management, Financial Crime Risk Assessment, QA, and Testing functions.
  • Primary contact for the Training and Policy Management function in maintaining an effective process, from enhancing, to delivering, and monitoring.
  • Advise and support the Firm as an SME on risk & controls providing guidance, surrounding applicable rules and regulations that may impact the BSA/AML Program for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Reporting metric that will support and informing management of status of the Program progress, including QA, Training, and Policy stats.
  • Assisting as a point of contact for audit and regulatory reviews.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $92984

Hiring Maximum: $158325 **

Skills/Requirements**

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (business, finance or accounting preferred).
  • SIE and Series 7 Top-off within 12 months of employment as required by business area.
  • 5+ years of Financial Crimes experience, with 2 years within Training and/or AML Risk Management space with a comprehensive knowledge of process analysis and control design techniques required.
  • Experience related to public accounting, internal audit, or internal control preferred
  • CFE or ACAMs preferred.
  • Ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve issues.
  • Previous direct and cross-functional team leadership skills or project management experience preferred.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with leaders and associates within and across divisions and external vendors.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment by incorporating effective listening and collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work at all levels of management, including senior management.
  • Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
