Risk & Compliance Associate (Access Legal)

About you:
As part of the Risk and Compliance team, you will be an innovative thinker who wants to provide the best service and advice to our customers. Our customers come to us as part of their culture or in a time of need therefore, we need you to be an organised person with great communication skills to ensure all our customers get what they need from our services. This delivery will include conducting research, using your own and the team's knowledge to answer helpline queries, write reports in a strategic and understanding way, conduct file audits in an analytic way in line with regulation and best practice. Throughout your working day, you will be part of a team whilst also working independently working to timeframes required by the client and KPIs. The team is made up of enthusiastic learners and we would like you to be the same, so we are looking for someone with the drive to research, learn and apply regulations to a diverse client base.

Day-to-day, you will:
• Complete Compliance and Governance reviews - Review customer procedures and policies to bring them in line with regulations and best practice, offering practical solutions for continued improvement.
• Review and write Policies and Procedures on behalf of clients for implementation.
• Undertake Audits - Undertake remote desktop and onsite file audits on client files to check adherence with regulation, policies and procedures.
• Conduct AML Independent Audit - subject to experience, handling query resolution - understanding client compliance queries and deliver timely and practical responses.
• Customer engagement and account growth - building relationships with clients to underpin an ongoing relationship and deliver the best Risk and Compliance services and legal tech solutions to them.
• Creating and delivering content for webinars hosted by Access and planning and hosting forums for Access' customers.

Your skills and experiences will also include:
• You will have exposure to Risk and Compliance within the legal sector and a strong understanding of compliance and risk management principles
• You will be a great communicator able to deliver technical content in an engaging and understandable way
• Attention to detail in analysing data, document reviews and spotting trends with proficient IT skills.
• Proactive approach to staying updated with legal and regulatory changes.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks. Ability to engage with colleagues

Your skills and experiences might also include:
• A strategic thinker who likes to come up with solutions and is great at problem solving.
• AML, Compliance, Data Protection and or Risk management qualifications.
• Public speaking experience.

*A full driving licence would be required as this role will involve national travel on occasion.
