Qualifications:
High School/GED, Associates degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience, 1-3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacist preferred, 1 year of customer service experience and/or office setting environment, 1-3 years of proficiency in PC skills (MS Word, Excel) is preferred.
Key responsabilities:
- Review Prior Authorization cases and make coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
- Consult with pharmacy technicians/providers for clinical information and formulary alternatives
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Organize, set priorities, and complete assignments in a timely manner while adhering to program standards
