Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required, PharmD preferred, 1-3 years experience as a Pharmacist is preferred, 1 year of customer service or office setting experience using the telephone and computer is preferred, PC proficiency with MS Word and Excel required.
Key responsabilities:
- Reviewing Prior Authorization cases and making coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
- Consulting with physicians/providers and pharmacy technicians for clinical information and guidance
- Organizing workload, complying with regulatory guidelines, and working within state and federal pharmacy laws
- Supporting quality assurance guidelines and building positive relationships with coworkers and customers
