Solutions Architect – Systems application & App Dev

Codeworks is an IT Services firm, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Our client is looking to bring aboard a Solutions Architect on the system application and app dev side for a long-term (18-24 month) contract basis. This role will support remote from EST or CST only, with limited travel required.

This individual will provide Solution Architecture oversight on all components of cloud-based software systems, with a focus on app dev and technical aspects of the project.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership and best practice guidance on application architecture
• Providing leadership and guidance on selection of application development tech stack
• Identifying opportunities for architecture improvement and risk aversion
• Ensuring that the technologic direction of the project is aligned with the broader technical initiatives and strategies.
• Ensure that the technology direction of the project is suited to accomplish the business, functional and nonfunctional deliverables of the project.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

• Previous experience leading application development teams (10 years Plus)
• Developing and mentoring teams
• Participate in evaluation and measurements of project progression
• Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud as well as Azure application dev technology stack including .Net, React, Python, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Mongo DB/Cosmos, Nonstructured DB, CICD Pipelines, ADO, and Message queuing.
• Strong Azure experience is key for this role.
• Working knowledge of integration architecture
