Main tasks:

Application architecture design: Review/Create the general structure of the system, including definition of layers, modules, services and interfaces.
Choice of technologies: Selection of frameworks, tools and platforms suitable for development.
Requirements management: Understand customer needs and transform these requirements into a functional and technical architecture.
Quality and performance: Ensure together with Team Leaders that the system is efficient, safe, scalable and easy to maintain.
Planning and scheduling releases.
Coordination between teams: Facilitate communication between development, QA (Quality), product and infrastructure (support) teams.
Version control.
Process automation: Help implement and maintain automated processes to facilitate continuous deliveries and version control.
Post-release monitoring: Monitor system performance after launch, ensuring that any issues are identified quickly and dealt with efficiently.
Creation of Documentation and standards. Requirements:
Minimum experience of 5 years (mandatory) in the role
Programming: Mastery of several programming languages/frameworks (e.g. C#, JavaScript, Angular, …).
Systems design: Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, Microservices, Event-driven architecture, etc.
Software architecture: Familiarity with distributed, scalable and high availability architectures.
DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge/Experience with continuous integration and delivery and automation.
Database: Experience with relational databases (SQL).
Version management and source code control: In-depth knowledge of tools such as Git, TFVC, or other version control platforms
Database: Experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL).
Knowledgeable / Implementer of integration technologies (BizTalk)
Environment and infrastructure management: Familiarity with production, staging and development environments.
Software testing: Basic knowledge of software testing practices (automated testing, regression testing, integration testing) to ensure that released versions do not affect system quality.
